Last October, Global Ties Wyoming welcomed its first International Visitor Leadership Group in two years to Jackson, Wyoming. The program focused on Agriculture, Food Safety and Trade. The participants were welcomed to Jackson with home hospitality dinners the first night in town followed by tours of Mead Ranch and Vertical Harvest the next day. Over the weekend, they visited Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks for an unforgettable day that included at least one visitor’s first time experiencing snow! The group then met with the local extension office, the Fine Dining Group at the Bistro, and Slow Food in the Tetons. The program was an excellent way to welcome international visitors back to Wyoming and highlight some of the best aspects of Teton Valley, Wyoming.
